Patrick Henry Twelve Facts:

1. Patrick Henry was born in Studley, Hanover County, Virginia.
2. Patrick Henry was born on May 29, 1736.
3. He had attended a local school before his father started to tutor him.
4. He married Sarah Shelton.
5. He and Sarah had six children.
6. His several attempts at business ended in failure.
7. After the failed attempts at business, he decided to become a lawyer.
8.He was elected into the house of Burgesses in 1765.
9. Patrick Henry served as the first to sixth post-colonial Governor of Virginia.
10. He was famously known for his "Give me Liberty of give me Death!" speech.
11. After the Revolution, he was the head of the anti-federalist against the replacement of the Articles of Confederation, with the United States Constitution.
12. Patrick Henry died at the age of 63.
